SWASTI MEDICAL FOUNDATION'S CHIRAYU HOSPITAL was founded under the Patronage of Dr. Ramesh Chavan who was the first Surgeon of Ratnagiri district. The Hospital was started in Aug 2003 with a noble intention of giving upgraded & super speciality medical care to the people of Ratnagiri under one roof. People of Ratnagiri had to depend on Mumbai. Pune or Kolhapur for speciality medical facilities leading to delay in diagnosis & treatment, increased mortality & also increased expenses of treatment.
    Hence this hospital gradually over the time turned out to be a boon for patients who required advanced medical & critical care. Every year since the establishment of hospital, a new diagnostic or treatment modality has been added to the hospital & the hospital has grown in all respects. To add to the list, the crown achievement was 1st MRI of Konkan region in 2010 & Fastest CT Scan in Konkan in 2013.
    Emergency and Trauma care department is present on ground floor of the hospital which is just around 20 Meters from Ratnagiri-Kolhapur national highway. Also, 24X7 in-house pharmacy and ambulance facility is also available at us.
